A report on the Cassidy Lake Resident Work Project, which was administered by the Michigan NYA. The program began in September 1936 as a way to provide work experience and training to young men; at the time of this report (March 1939) over 400 young men had lived and worked at the site. The report includes sections on the origin and location of the work project, its purpose, costs, entrance requirements, buildings and equipment, plan of operation, leisure time activities and student organizations, placement and follow-up, and an application form. Also included are two maps, one showing the work project area and another showing where it is located in relation to nearby cities and towns. OCLC locates eight holdings, surprisingly, but we don't locate it in the Stanford catalog.
