Ladies' Shoe Polishing Parlor. Exclusively for Women. 418 Main Street, Room 2.

Worcester, MA: Circa 1920. 8.5 x 16 cm. Trade card blotter printed in black on white stock on recto. Incudes a photographic reproduction of the parlor, showing four women seated, another woman at the cash register, and a man, standing. Presuming the ladies-only parlor was set up to guarantee the propriety of the experience for women, it is not immediately clear why the shoe shiner is male. Minor wear to edges. Very Good+.
