Armed with Kiwi Ears' Largest Planar Magnetic Driver to Date, Aether Delivers Powerful Output for a Highly Immersive, Studio-Grade Sound Features a 15.3mm large planar magnetic driver with multi-layered N52 neodymium magnets Newly designed chamber and enhanced ventilation Engineered for responsiveness and tonal integrity Precise soundstage reminiscent of open-back headphones Kiwi Ears Aether The Kiwi Ears Aether sets a new standard with its innovative 15.3mm planar driver and multi-layered N52 neodymium magnets, offering powerful performance and minimal distortion. Its studio-tuned sound signature delivers deep, clean sub-bass, a neutral midrange, and a naturally smooth treble peak, ensuring clear and balanced audio across the spectrum. Enhanced ventilation and a wide soundstage design give the Aether the immersive qualities of open-back headphones, making it the perfect choice for both professionals and audiophiles seeking precision and depth in their listening experience. Biggest Planar Driver Yet The Aether features the largest IEM planar driver Kiwi Ears has developed to date. Equipped with a 15.3mm diaphragm and powerful, multi-layered N52 neodymium magnets, this driver delivers a sound that mimics the experience of full-sized headphones. Compared to typical 12mm or 14mm planar drivers, the Aether's 15.3mm driver achieves greater output with lower distortion, dramatically enhancing audio quality. The Aether's planar magnetic driver excels in speed, responsiveness, imaging, and soundstage. Speaker-Like Sound Thanks to the larger driver, the Aether not only improves resolution but also provides a wider, more precise soundstage and better imaging. Kiwi Ears' newly designed chamber and improved ventilation help create an open-back headphone or stereo system-like experience. The result is an airy, lifelike sound, characteristic of planar magnetic drivers. While Aether is perfect for professionals seeking precision in sound, it also caters to gamers who want an all-around highly immersive and engaging experience. Tonal Integrity Tonal integrity was a key focus during the design of the Aether. Adhering to Kiwi Ears' signature tonal balance, the Aether offers a natural, accurate sound. The bass delivers deep, subwoofer-like punch, while a mild mid-bass to mids transition adds warmth to the sound's body. The midrange (300 to 800Hz) remains flat for monitor-like accuracy, ensuring true representation of instruments and vocals. The treble is finely tuned to align with the human ear's tonal perception, providing a clear yet natural high-frequency response.
