KitchenAid Model KFIS29PBMS00 Water Filter

The KitchenAid model KFIS29PBMS00 water filter is made for refrigerators that have a built-in water dispenser and ice maker. Here’s the thing. Tap water often carries a chlorine smell and tiny particles from the supply line. That can affect the taste of drinking water and the ice your fridge makes. A refrigerator water filter helps reduce those impurities before the water reaches your glass. This filter is tested under NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, and 401. That means it helps reduce chlorine taste, lead, and other common contaminants found in household water. Replacing the filter is simple. Remove the old cartridge and insert the KFIS29PBMS00 water filter into the slot. Twist it until it locks. Then run water for about two minutes to flush the system. Most homes replace it every six months or 200 gallons of usage.
