Kitchen Wood Conditioner

Two ingredients — food-grade mineral oil and our own beeswax — and nothing else. We make this conditioner in house from a traditional recipe, specifically for kitchen wood: cutting boards, butcher blocks, wooden bowls, spoons, and countertops. It seals the grain, locks out moisture, and brings dried-out wood back to a smooth, natural finish without leaving anything behind you wouldn't want near food. The 2 oz tin is great for trying it out; the 6 oz covers a lot of surface area. How to Use Scoop the conditioner onto a clean rag and rub it into the wood. Let it sit overnight, then buff with a soft cloth. Warming the wood slightly before applying helps it absorb more conditioner and extends the finish. Reapply as often as you'd like.
