Kirwin

Simple comfort elevated by carefully chosen details will make this poncho vest a practical favorite. With a split hem and a cartridge rib collar wide enough to wear comfortably over button-downs, Kirwin is gently flattering and easy to style. The fabric is textured with a diagonal seeded pattern that changes direction on the bias.  The stitch motif is charted and the pieces are knit flat, with the neckband picked up and worked in the round after assembly. An exposed seam highlights the gracefully sloped short-row shoulders, and I-cord edges create a neat, minimalist finish.
