The Kiridashi knife is an utility knife widely used in Japan for woodworking, we found it to be very effective in paring/skiving leather. Forged from high speed steel for exceptional quality and performance. Just like a traditional Kiridashi, the blade is beveled on one side to provide thinner edge for extremely fine cuts. It is heat treated to HRC66. Overall dimension: Curved handle - 7.25" L, 2.25" cutting width Straight handle - 7.25" L, 1.75" cutting width Please note: Each knife is hand cut, grind and sharpen by hand. Every knife is unique in its own way and one-of-kind. Clipped blade tip is intentional to prevent chipping.
