Kintsugi Bust

Cracked Marble, Gold Repairs A classical Greek bust splits down the center: white marble on one side, black on the other. Gold veins run through the cracks like kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Abstract collage elements in burnt orange and gold leaf surround the head like fragments of thought. The background is muted olive, letting the contrast between marble and metal do the work. It's ancient sculpture meets modern mixed media. This piece fits well in living rooms, offices, or any space that leans modern or eclectic. The black, white, and gold palette is clean enough to work with most interiors, and the mix of classical subject with contemporary technique gives it an edge that typical bust prints don't have.
