Agate 10mm beaded Bracelet slate color. Looking for help to determine what size Kinsley Armelle bracelets you should order? You've come to the right place! We have a simple way that you can find out what size will be best for you:     WHAT IS AGATE? Agate is a variety of chalcedony and a cryptocrystalline form of quartz that was first discovered near modern day Sicily. The name, AGATE comes from the river Achates, now known as the Dirillo River where agate was first discovered, sometime between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. Agate is created when coursing ground waters fill cavities in rocks or dissolve bone or shell and create concentric bands, these bands form layers on top of one another. Band colors differ due to the differing impurities present in the composition of the agate. Chalcedony can come in a variety of colors, such as blue, brown, green, grey, pink, milky white and yellow. FUN FACT ... Agate has been long known for its beauty, healing properties, and translucent color and has been used in jewelry making since 3000 BC. HOW ARE OUR AGATE BEADS FORMED? Our agate stone beads all start off as a raw circular rock. When the rock is sliced open, you are able to see the different band of colors formed within. Once the rock is cut open, each half is cut into bars, then small squares. From each square, the material is polished into one single bead. Beads can be different millimeters. KA uses 10mm, 8mm, and 6mm in our Agate designs. We use agate not only for its natural beauty but because the stone is lightweight, affordable and allows each design to be truly one- of -a-kind. IS AGATE KNOWN TO HAVE HEALING POWERS? Agate is believed to offer its wearer a sense of stability and balance. They are thought to bring harmony to the wearer as a whole and affect their physical, spiritual and emotional being. Grab A Dollar Bill   Our "Dollar Bill Method" is the simplest way to find your size. If you have a spare dollar (or any bill denomination will work, you big spender!), grab it. We are going to use it to measure your wrist.       Step 1: Wrap the dollar bill around the smallest part of your wrist.   Step 2: Does any part of the dollar bill touch itself when wrapping it around?   If YES, you should order our "S / M" bracelets to avoid the bracelet slipping around too much and being uncomfortable. If ALMOST, you should probably order our "S / M" bracelets. If the dollar bill is within 1 inch of touching, you will most likely prefer the smaller size. We've found that most customers would prefer it to not be too loose, so it's best to order smaller. Don't worry, if it's not large enough, we can totally get a larger size exchanged for you, hassle free. If NO, you should order our "L / XL" bracelets to avoid it being too tight and uncomfortable.   Step 3. That's it!
