SPREAD BRAVE GOWNS & HOPE AT UCSF BENIOFF w/ KINGSTON THE BILIARY ATRESIA WARRIOR

We would love for you to sponsor a Brave Gown to help us spread smiles and hope to Kingston's friends at UCSF BENIOFF CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL! Mr Kingston is four months post transplant. The transplant is going well, but the poor kiddo is inpatient with Influenza A, RSV and the Rhinovirus. He’s currently in PICU. Kingston has spent more than 75 nights in the hospital, to date, at only 10 months old. I had grown very weary of seeing him in hospital gowns. Another liver mom friend of mine told me about these amazing gowns for kids who spend a lot of time inpatient. I was so excited to receive Kingston’s Brave Gown!!!!! The nurses loved it, and it looked so cute on him, and it fit over is picc line and IVs and he can wear it during x-rays too! I would love to be able to pass out some Brave Gowns to other kiddos here at UCSF that spend a lot of time inpatient. It’s a simple, but nice way to brighten up the hospital room for kids and parents who would much rather be home. When we found out that nurses and the MRI team at Benioff have been trying to raise Brave Gowns on their own, because even they see the impact that they make, we were excited to jump in and help.  Brave Gowns will also be giving back a percentage of gowns sponsored to help our family, so you'll personally be putting a Brave Gown directly on a child while helping us through this as well.  You can follow Kingston's story at @kingstonthebiliaryatresiawarrior THANK YOU! WHY ARE BRAVE GOWNS SO IMPACTFUL? Being a child stuck in the hospital over the is tough. Having to wear an old, uncomfortable hospital gown makes the experience even worse. Brave Gowns are a variety of bright, fun, lively designs to suit every child's personality. No more dingy, lifeless pastel gowns that look and feel as if they have been washed numerous times. Brave Gowns transform the spirit of a child and allow them to travel using their imaginations, wherever their hearts desire! We are so enthusiastic about our gowns because they are not your standard hospital gowns! Brave Gowns have gone through extensive Clinical Pilot Programs in the children's hospital network and were created with the input of a transplant team at Lurie's Children's Hospital. Not only do they have fun prints that cover the entire front like costumes; they are made out of an amazingly soft fabric that resembles your soft, favorite t-shirt, or nightgown! They have IV access on both sleeves, access to chest ports and heart monitors. No more having to worry about a draft or the back opening. While the gowns are softer then you can even imagine, they meet all hospital standards and hold up to industrial washings competing with gowns being offered currently.  Brave Gown is a high-quality gown, that helps eliminate infections in chest port and makes it easier to access every part of a patient's body!    WHEN ORDERING FROM THIS CAMPAIGN, IF YOU CHECKOUT DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WEBSITE, YOU WON'T BE ASKED FOR A SHIPPING ADDRESS. IF YOU CHECKOUT VIA PAYPAL, IT WILL ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS BY DEFAULT, BUT THE GOWNS WILL NOT SHIP TO YOU. ALL GOWNS WILL SHIP DIRECTLY TO OUR FAMILY FOR US TO DELIVER PERSONALLY WITH CHILD LIFE AT UCSF BENIOFF! THANK YOU!
