He learned silversmithing from his grandfather. He also took silversmithing classes by Jesse Monongya and Tommy Jackson. His life is very traditional; therefore, his jewelry is very traditional. He is known for his simple and clean designs. Stone: Kingman Turquoise (Arizona) The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest and highest producing Turquoise Mines in America. It was originally discovered by prehistoric Indians well over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful sky blue color and produces many variations of blue Turquoise. (Still active but black matrix are very rare to find)
