King Arthur Cookie Scoops

Perfectly portioned, every time. King Arthur's cookie scoops take the guesswork out of dough and batter, delivering consistent size for evenly baked cookies, scones, muffins, and more. The details Crafted from durable 18/8 stainless steel with BPA-free and PFAS-free plastic components, these scoops are built to handle daily baking with ease. The spring-loaded squeeze handle releases dough cleanly and quickly, making short work of even the largest batches. Size is clearly marked on the handle for quick identification when several scoops are in rotation, and each is dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup. Why scoop size matters It's not just about looks. Too small a scoop and cookies overbake into dry, hard discs. Too large, and you'll pull pale, underbaked cookies with doughy centers. Using a consistent scoop ensures every cookie on the sheet bakes evenly — so what you see is what you get. Find your size Scoop Approx. Bakery-style / oversized cookies: Reach for the 4 or 6 tablespoon scoop for soft, gooey centers with crisp edges. Muffins & cupcakes: The 2 tablespoon fills standard tins; the 4 tablespoon is ideal for jumbo muffins. Scones & biscuits: Tablespoon for mini scones; 4 tablespoon for tea-shop sized portions. Truffles & delicate work: The teaspoon keeps every bite consistent. Ice cream: The 4 or 6 tablespoon scoop doubles as a hardworking ice cream scoop. Meatballs & savory drops: Tablespoon or 2 tablespoon for even cooking. A quick tip on recipe terminology If a recipe specifies "level," "gently rounded," "rounded," or "generous," here's what those mean: Level: Scrape across the top with a knife for a flat surface Gently rounded: Slight dome over the top of the scoop Rounded: Dough forms a full round ball in the scoop Generous: Dough overflows the scoop If a recipe just gives a yield ("makes 24 cookies"), weigh the finished dough, divide by the number of cookies, and choose the scoop that matches that portion weight. Where to start If you're only buying one, the tablespoon scoop is the most-used size in most kitchens — the workhorse for everyday cookies, mini scones, and quick portioning. From there, add the 2 tablespoon for bakery-style cookies and muffins, and the teaspoon for delicate work.
