Its distinctive textured surface, created through a special weaving and finishing process, gives it a soft feel and an elegant sheen. It has long been used for kimono and traditional accessories.  This fabric is crafted by Nishimura Shoji Shouten, a Kyoto-based company established in 1828. Using vintage printing screens, they create these beautiful traditional Kimono designs with a rich sense of history. It’s perfect for sewing projects such as bags, pouches, or small accessories like tsumami-zaiku and hair accessories.
