KILLER INSTINCT

The KILLER INSTINCT is the most prominent and recognizable characteristic of winners. This is the first quality an election consultant will look for in a candidate: Is the person a killer? This does not mean that a candidate with a killer instinct will automatically win, but without a killer instinct, they have no chance of success, and it would be best not to run. "Killer Instinct," the book by Eyal Arad, Moshe Gaon, and Prof. Erez Yaakobi, is a must-read and an essential tool for anyone who intends to run a political campaign. Published first in Hebrew in 2018 and now in its expanded and updated English version, this book merits a place on the reading list of any course or degree in government, diplomacy, social psychology, leadership, management, and communication. This comprehensive training book is designed to serve as a resource for every candidate, campaign manager, Foreign Ministry cadet, military spokesperson, and commander—anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of leadership psychology.  It is also a fascinating read for anyone interested in deeply understanding the working methods and approaches of the political communication system, how it operates, and how it influences public opinion. Using diverse examples from the US, Israel, and the world, "Killer Instinct" reveals a comprehensive guide to managing political campaigns in a practical, simple, and fluid manner. Its detailed presentation of the work of spin consultants from the US and Israel makes it a “must” for those intrigued by the practice of political consultants and their involvement in decision-making. In a special section, the authors refer to the latest academic studies related to strategic consulting, psychology, and communication. In sections penned especially for the book by the finest consultants and members of the profession, they share their personal experiences in order to allow readers to deepen their knowledge of production methods, photography, research, communication, and social networks. The book features extraordinary photos taken by Ziv Koren, one of the top war and documentary photographers in the world. They are revealed here for the first time, documenting authentic moments from his special and exclusive work behind the scenes of various campaigns.
