Kidney Table

The RAD Kidney Table is a longtime favorite among teachers, parents, and Montessori homeschool and classroom communities. Its distinctive kidney shape naturally invites children to gather, making it ideal for small group work, shared meals, art projects, instruction, and conversation. Handmade in our shop from premium Baltic birch wood, the Kidney Table reflects RAD’s commitment to thoughtful design, durability, and everyday functionality. The curved shape allows educators and caregivers to sit comfortably with children, creating an inclusive, collaborative environment that works equally well at home or in learning spaces. Designed to grow with your child, the table features swappable legs that can be removed by hand for easy storage or replaced as your child transitions between developmental stages. Each leg includes an adjustable foot leveler, ensuring stability on uneven floors and a steady, wobble free surface during daily use. The durable high wear tabletop is easy to clean and built to withstand years of activity. 🪑 Choosing the Right Table Height The correct table height depends on how your child will sit. The most reliable way to choose is to measure from the back of your child’s knee to the floor. That measurement should be close to the seat height of their chair or stool, which will guide you to the appropriate table height. 8 inch height • Best for infants sitting directly on the floor 13 inch height • Works with RAD Toddler Height Magda Stool and Grow Stool • Works with the Montessori Cube Chair 19 inch height • Works with RAD Preschool Height Magda Stool and Grow Stool • Works with the Skoolhaus Chair Table legs can be swapped by hand as your child grows. Additional leg sets are available separately. 📐 Table Sizes and Seating Capacity Using RAD 11 inch wide Magda Stools, maximum recommended seating is as follows: • 40 inch by 24 inch: seats up to 4 children • 52 inch by 30 inch: seats up to 6 children We recommend choosing the largest table that comfortably fits your space to allow room for growth, shared work, and expanding activities. 🪑 Key Benefits ✔ Suitable for infants through preschool ✔ Spacious tabletop fits multiple children ✔ Easy to clean, durable high wear top ✔ Swappable legs allow the table to grow with your child ✔ Adjustable foot levelers for uneven floors ✔ Built from premium Baltic birch wood ✔ Handmade with care in our shop 🛠 Assembly and Shipping • Ships unassembled • No tools required for leg installation 🏠 Use and Care • Designed for indoor use • May be used outdoors for short periods, but prolonged exposure to moisture and UV rays is not recommended
