KickAss 170W Flexible ETFE Solar Panel

Designed to deliver high-efficiency performance in a slim, ultra-flexible form, this KickAss 170W Flexible ETFE Solar Panel is ideal for caravans, 4WDs, boats and custom installs where traditional rigid panels are not suitable. Using advanced N-Type TOPCon solar cell technology, this panel achieves up to 25% greater conversion efficiency and produces 3 to 7% more energy than standard P-PERC panels under the same conditions. It is also optimised for low-light environments, helping you generate strong, reliable power even on cloudy days or in shaded campsites. Another advantage of the N-Type TOPCon solar technology is that output power loss in high temperatures is greatly reduced, meaning your panels run efficiently in all weathers. Strong, Flexible and Built to Last Constructed with a superior 9-layer lamination process and reinforced with extra polymer layers, this panel is engineered for durability without sacrificing flexibility. The advanced layering helps resist cracking, improves structural strength and allows the panel to bend smoothly around curved surfaces, making it ideal for rooflines, canopies and uneven mounting areas. The premium ETFE surface coating adds another layer of protection, shielding the panel from heat, corrosion and environmental wear. Known for its long lifespan and high light transmission, ETFE helps maintain consistent output while standing up to Australia’s harsh outdoor conditions. Withstands Real-World Conditions With an IP67 waterproof rating, this panel is built to handle rain, splashes, dust and dirt without missing a beat. Whether you are camping by the coast, crossing muddy tracks or dealing with unpredictable weather, you can rely on your solar setup to keep performing. Ultra-Thin, Lightweight and Easy to Handle At just 3mm thick and weighing only 3.2kg, this panel is easy to mount, move and transport. Its low-profile design suits tight spaces and discreet installs, while the lightweight construction reduces strain on mounting surfaces and improves portability. Extreme Flexibility for Curved Surfaces Unlike rigid solar panels, this ultra-flexible design bends up to 270 degrees, allowing it to conform to curved roofs, rounded canopies and unconventional mounting locations. This makes it ideal for caravans, 4WDs and boats where flat panels will not fit. Plug and Play Compatibility Fitted with an industry-standard MC-4 connector, this panel connects seamlessly into a wide range of fixed and mobile solar setups. It is designed for easy integration into existing power systems without the need for adapters. Quick, Simple Installation Pre-cut eyelets make mounting fast and straightforward, whether fixing the panel to a vehicle, awning or campsite setup.
