Today it is used to support a healthy histamine response, promote optimal immune function, normalize mucus membranes, and calm runaway mucus production. Elderflower: Sambucus nigra is native to Europe and now naturalized in parts of the United States. This light and delicate herb with honey-scented flowers makes it suitable for kids and adults alike. Elderflower supports the body's natural ability to eliminate waste and encourage a healthy microbial balance and immune response. It may also help support healthy body temperature, soothes sinuses, and supports a healthy inflammatory response in the sinuses during seasonal changes. Sage leaf: Salvia officinalis is native to the Mediterranean where it was prized in ancient Greece and Rome for its health benefits. While most known for its use in the kitchen, sage's drying properties help support a balanced fluid response in the body. Sage leaves are rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids, which combat oxidative stress and support a healthy inflammatory response throughout the body. Horseradish Root: The root of Armoracia rusticana supports healthy respiratory function; Horseradish has an affinity for the sinuses, opening up the pathways and eases congestion in the upper and lower respiratory tract. Baptisia root: Baptisia tinctoria, also known as Wild Indigo, is native to the Northeastern United States and supports healthy lymphatic function, carrying immune properties into the nooks and crannies of the head. Goldenrod Aerials: Solidago spp. (gigantea, virgaurea) supports upper respiratory wellness and soothes seasonal respiratory discomforts. Garlic bulb: Allium sativum has been used throughout the world as food and medicine for centuries. Hippocrates prescribed it for lung concerns, and in India and China, it was traditionally indicated for respiratory support. Garlic supports a healthy inflammatory response and supports respiratory health and function. The rich free radical scavengers found in garlic help protect against free radical damage that can harm healthy cells. Goldenseal root: Hydrastis canadensis is a perennial plant that has been used in traditional medicine to support mucus membrane wellness and healthy microbial balance. This herb supports a healthy inflammatory response and maintains healthy microbial balance. It is commonly taken to soothe seasonal discomforts, sinus discomforts, respiratory discomforts, and mucosal discomforts. Red root: Ceanothus americanus has been used for hundreds of years in traditional medicine and is popular among herbalists and natural medicine practitioners today to stimulate the lymphatic system. Native Americans have a long history of using Red Root as an herbal ally. It was brewed as a tea and used to support optimal immune strength, vital respiratory system function, and the body's natural detoxification process.
