Keystone Giant Pepper

This is a classic, dependable heirloom for any gardener who dreams of growing truly massive, softball-sized bell peppers. The 'Keystone Giant' lives up to its name, forming a sturdy, stress-tolerant plant that is widely adaptable to a variety of climates. Developed from 'California Wonder' for even greater size, it has been a garden favorite for years. It's also notably resilient, offering good resistance to mosaic virus, which makes it a truly reliable performer for home gardeners. The reward for its steady growth is a generous harvest of impressive, four-lobed, blocky peppers. The fruits are prized for their incredibly thick, sweet, and juicy walls. While delicious when picked green, they mature to a brilliant scarlet red with one of the sweetest flavors available. This pepper's huge size and sturdy walls make it the absolute ideal choice for stuffing, and it's just as wonderful for grilling or slicing fresh into salads.
