Kentucky Bluegrass

Kentucky Bluegrass is one of the most popular grass varieties in the northern and central states, prized for its attractive appearance and reliable establishment. Its fine to medium bladed texture and rich dark green color make it a standout choice for anyone looking to build a lawn that looks as good as it performs. Beyond residential lawns, Kentucky Bluegrass sees extensive use across parks, athletic fields, recreational areas, and pastures. Its dense growth habit and self-spreading rhizomes help it fill in thin areas over time, creating a uniform, resilient stand that holds up well to foot traffic and regular mowing. For producers and turf managers in northern and central climates, Kentucky Bluegrass remains a dependable, proven choice for both appearance and function.
