Kelpie — variegated deep ocean blue. This is a variegated colorway — expect beautiful natural color variation between skeins. Moonspun is Storyteller Stitchery's 100% silk thread, with a lustrous, smooth hand that catches the light beautifully. Hand-dyed in our Arizona studio, and sold with 10 yards on pre-wound cards, ready to stitch. Moonspun works beautifully for: needlepoint on 18ct canvas (single strand); needlepoint on 13ct canvas (held double for full coverage); surface embroidery including satin stitch, stem stitch, French knots, and long-and-short shading. This color is also offered on Seren (merino & silk thread for 18ct needlepoint and embroidery), and on Awen (merino & silk thread for 13ct needlepoint and visible mending).
