Clematis Katharina

The ruffled edges of the sepals and a touch of color in the center make these pale blooms turn heads, especially when they practically sparkle in the sun. You can get a long season with this Clematis; once the flowers begin to wane, cut them back for a vigorous second show. We love Katharina for planting in patio containers, as it's a medium–sized vine great for catching attention in smaller gardening spaces. Clematis 'Katharina' In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the GREEN pruning category. These Clematis bloom on new vines that emerge from the ground each year or stems from near the bottom of older vines.
