Karlo Wide Pleated Trouser - Black Drill

Founded in 2010, Hansen Garments is designed in Copenhagen and produced conscientiously at different factories & workshops around Europe, using high quality European and Japanese textiles. They describe themselves as a "slow fashion" brand, creating clothing that's meant to last, both functionally and stylistically, employing classical tailoring and heritage details to create collections that can fit into a wide variety of different wardrobes. The Karlo is trousers thread the needle of being both nice and wide while still keeping a rather slick silhouette. They feature a single reverse pleat -- which helps them stay big in the leg without getting too big everywhere else. Besides the single pleat at the waist, they also have pleats at the knee which taper the leg while still appearing full and allowing for a wide range of movement. The button cuffs at the hem allow the silhouette to be further streamlined and give the wide leg a bit of heft at the bottom for an ideal drape. These are made from a lightweight Italian cotton drill, a 100% cotton twill fabric that is tightly woven and is known for its durability. The trousers have four pockets: two front slanted and two welted back pockets — one with a button flap. A button fly rounds out these wide guys. Letter sized for a bigger fit. Wash cold, hang dry.
