Unlike standard cedars, Karl Fuchs develops a distinctive semi-pendulous habit, making it an ideal specimen tree for gardens seeking dramatic focal points. The tree establishes in full sun and well-drained soil, developing impressive cold and drought tolerance once rooted. Reaching 12-15 feet tall and 6 feet wide at maturity, this hardy evergreen adds sophisticated texture, winter color, and architectural interest to residential estates and commercial properties alike. Perfect for creating visual depth and movement in landscape designs. Planting & Care 1. Planting: Plant your Cedar tree in an area with full sun and well draining, moist soil. For the best establishment of this tree, plant in spring or fall. Simply dig a hole 2-3 times larger than the root ball, place the tree inside, and backfill the dirt. As you backfill the dirt, be careful not to compact the soil. 2. Watering:The Cedar should be watered regularly to maintain consistent soil moisture. Mulching around the base of the tree and root ball will help keep the soil moisture in.
