Shuttle Rug: Large

Description The Shuttle Rug, designed by Karin Carlander, showcases a blend of traditional craftsmanship with modern material exploration. This rectangular rug is woven from paper yarn, chosen for its crisp texture and delicate appearance. While the material is notoriously difficult to work with, Carlander harnesses its durability and dyes it in various shades to emphasize its tactile qualities and visual rhythm. Inspired by the interplay of movement and pattern, the design carries subtle influences from Japanese tatami mats. Available in 4 sizes.
