Kanto Uki Compact Desktop Speakers Kanto Uki compact desktop speakers are designed to bring rich, detailed sound to modern workspaces, gaming setups, and creative studios without taking over your desk. Powered by a 100 W Class D bi-amplified design with 3/4" silk dome tweeters and 3" paper cone woofers, Uki delivers smooth mids, open highs, and a surprisingly wide soundstage that remains comfortable and fatigue-free for all-day listening. With USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3, and RCA inputs, you can switch seamlessly between your computer, phone, and turntable, while a dedicated subwoofer output with automatic 100 Hz crossover lets you add deep bass without overwhelming your space. The softly rounded cabinet is injection-molded from partially recycled material, giving each pair a unique flecked finish that feels more like a design object than a piece of gear. A front-mounted multifunction dial handles power, input selection, and volume, and the built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack plus selectable left/right orientation switch keep controls and connections exactly where you need them. Compact enough for small desks yet powerful enough to fill a room, Uki is a balanced, modern desktop speaker system that replaces the need for a separate amplifier, receiver, or bulky soundbar. No. Uki is a self-powered, Class D bi-amplified speaker system with the amplifier built into the active speaker, so you can connect your sources directly via USB-C, Bluetooth, or RCA without an external amp or receiver. Can I connect Uki directly to my computer? Yes. Connect Uki to your PC or Mac using the USB-C input; this digital connection supports up to 16-bit / 48 kHz audio and bypasses your computer’s internal sound card for cleaner playback. Will Uki work with a turntable? Uki accepts a line-level RCA input, so it will work with turntables that include a built-in phono preamp or with traditional turntables connected through an external phono preamp. Once the signal is line-level, you can plug it straight into Uki’s RCA input and enjoy vinyl playback. Can I add a subwoofer to the Uki system? Yes. Uki features an RCA subwoofer output and engages an automatic 100 Hz active crossover when a sub is connected, redirecting low frequencies to the subwoofer for tighter, more powerful bass and cleaner mids and highs from the main speakers. How big are the speakers, and will they fit on a small desk? Each Uki speaker measures 4.4" W x 4.3" D x 6.5" H (11.2 x 11 x 16.5 cm), with the active speaker weighing 2.2 lb (1 kg) and the passive 1.9 lb (0.9 kg), making them compact enough for tight desktop setups and monitor stands. Is there a headphone jack, and where is it located? Yes. Uki includes a 3.5 mm headphone output on the front of the active speaker, giving you quick access for private listening without reaching behind your gear. Can I choose which speaker sits on the left or right side? You can. Uki’s active speaker includes a rear L/R channel switch that lets you swap orientation so the volume knob, headphone jack, and inputs can be placed on whichever side of the desk is most convenient. What is included in the box when I purchase Uki? In the box you’ll find the active and passive Uki speakers, a 6' 4-pin speaker interconnect cable, a power cord, eight rubber feet, and a user manual so you can get set up immediately.
