Kant Square Ottoman

The Kant Square Ottoman’s upholstered top is offered in a range of curated fabrics, and appears to “float” above its hardwood apron, evoking the weightlessness and angular lines of classic Japanese furniture. The solid hardwood frame is customizable in both length and width, then shaped, sanded, buffed, and finished by hand at a multi-generational, family-owned woodworking shop in the Northeast. For an airy, elegant silhouette, the Kant features an X-shaped support spanning the underside of the table in lieu of a cross-stretcher. Designed for use as a seat, leg rest, or even a coffee table if paired with a tray, the Kant Square Ottoman is finished with custom jewel-like metal hardware handmade in Maine. The Kant Series is available in these variations: Upholstered Bench, Square Upholstered Ottoman, Square Stone Coffee Table, Round Coffee Table in Stone or Wood, Round Dining Table in Stone or Wood, Roundsides and Squaresides. This piece is made to order. Lead time is approximately 12 - 14 weeks.
