Kant Round Stone Dining Table

Solid stone conveys an ethereal sense of weightlessness in the richly veined circular top of the Kant Stone Dining Table, which appears to float above its wooden base in a feat of engineering. The Kant Stone Dining Table is built from solid hardwood that is shaped, sanded, buffed, and finished by hand at a multi-generational, family-owned woodworking shop in Pennsylvania. Its rare stone top is discerningly sourced by an expert mason for its singular veining and exceptional quality, then precisely cut, ground, and polished to accord perfectly with the Kant’s frame. To construct the Kant’s rounded apron, master woodworkers must wet, bend, clamp, and dry the wood repeatedly, making gradual adjustments to its radius in order to form it into a perfect circle. In lieu of a cross-stretcher, the Kant features an X-shaped support spanning the underside of the table, providing both an airy, elegant silhouette and a maximal amount of legroom. The Kant Series is available in these variations: Upholstered Bench, Square Upholstered Ottoman, Square Stone Coffee Table, Round Coffee Table in Stone or Wood, Round Dining Table in Stone or Wood, Roundsides and Squaresides. The beveled stone top is available in a selection of stones. Choose from a selection of Signature and Distinctive hardwoods and alloys with natural finishes.
