Kankitsu Labo 100% Pure Kito Yuzu Extract

Yuzu is a highly tart citrus fruit with a refreshing flavor profile that is less acidic than many of its citruses. Kito Yuzu Pure Juice is one of the most authentic and vibrant ways to experience this iconic Japanese citrus — perfect for enhancing cooking, baking, dressings, cocktails, mocktails, and more. Pure juice of Kito Yuzu harvested in Kito Village of Tokushima, Japan. Kito Yuzu is a premium, award-winning variety of yuzu born from the region’s rare combination of natural elements. Often praised as “the best yuzu in Japan,” Kito Yuzu became the first fruit tree to receive the prestigious Asahi Agricultural Award in 1978. Its richness, exceptionally strong aroma, vivid acidity, and deep flavor have made it a beloved ingredient in high-end Japanese cuisine for decades. Kito, now part of Tokushima’s Naka-cho, is celebrated as a “yuzu paradise.” Located at the southern foot of Mt. Tsurugi, the area is blessed with clean water and forests. The community has long protected its natural environment. This dedication has earned Kito a reputation as the birthplace of Japan’s yuzu culture. Add a small splash to dressings, fish, meats, vegetables, or even desserts. Its bright citrus aroma gently enhances Japanese, French, and modern fusion dishes. 100% pure yuzu juice (not from concentrate)
