Kankick & Roc C - KANROC (LP - Black Vinyl)

KANROC is the long‑awaited collision of two Oxnard powerhouses: legendary beat architect Kankick and gritty street‑poet Roc C. Together, they carve out a sound that feels both timeless and forward‑leaning; dusty, soulful, abstract textures from Kankick wrapped around Roc C’s concrete‑tough delivery. This is a full‑album collaboration in the truest sense: one producer, one MC, one unified vision. The result is a rare, cohesive body of work that stands shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the great Oxnard lineage that shaped underground hip‑hop culture. Adding to the project’s weight are features from some of the most respected names in the game. Oh No the Disrupt, a fellow Oxnard titan and Grammy‑nominated producer/MC, brings his signature explosive energy. BLU, one of L.A.’s most celebrated lyricists, and Fashawn, a former XXL Freshman with a Def Jam pedigree, elevate the project with razor‑sharp verses. Underground standout Pok Dog adds raw edge, while Chali2na, the unmistakable baritone from Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, delivers the kind of commanding presence only he can. Turntable legend DJ Romes (Lootpack) laces the album with authentic West Coast scratch work, giving the LP that true collector‑grade feel. From the deep, meditative beats to the gritty street narratives, KANROC is built for listeners who crave substance and collectors who chase rarity. This vinyl release isn’t just another drop, it’s a piece of Oxnard history, crafted by artists with real pedigrees, real accomplishments, and real cultural impact. Whether you’re streaming it, downloading it, or adding the LP to your shelf, this is one of those releases you’ll want in your rotation and in your collection.
