Kamui Athlete Pool Cue Tips

Price is for 1 tip Hone Your Play Modern billiard shafts—especially carbon fiber shafts—have advanced significantly, offering enhanced power transfer and reduced deflection. To fully leverage these benefits, a cue tip must complement the shaft's performance. Traditional tips, however, have often forced a compromise between stiffness and elasticity. The Kamui Athlete Tip is engineered to resolve this trade-off by layering pigskin leathers of varying hardness. This innovative construction delivers both the structural rigidity needed to maximize power and the elasticity required for a soft, controlled touch. During a shot, significant force is absorbed by the lower layers of the tip—those furthest from the point of cue ball contact. This layered design enables optimal flexibility on center strikes while maintaining energy transfer and minimizing power loss on spin shots. The result is a tip that amplifies the inherent performance of carbon shafts, enhancing precision, feel, and consistency with every stroke.
