Kambaba Jasper, widely believed to be a stromatolite (similar to fossilized algae), is actually a rhyolite found in volcanic rock. It has a solid medium to forest green background, with black circular formations caused by amphibole needles. From Madagascar. Shown wet in photo. Ranks about 6 on Mohs Hardness Scale. Size ranges from 0.5" - 2". Tumbling size.
