About Cell Salt Kali Sulphuricum & Dr. Schuessler's Biochemic Therapy Kali Sulphuricum or Potassium Sulfate is Cell Salt #7 in Dr. Schuessler's biochemic therapy, a natural healing system, including 12 vital mineral salts. Kali Sulph helps remedy clogged and infected skin and mucous membranes that often produce a yellow, sticky discharge. It helps distribute oil in the body and supply oxygen to the cells*.  Consider Kali Sulph's natural support for acne, eczema, psoriasis, hives, and dandruff, yeast infections and vaginal irritation, hair loss, brittle and diseased nails, sticky yellow mucus from coughs and colds, sinus and ear congestions, upset stomach and gastritis, varied symptoms caused by poor oxygen exchange from blood to cells including dizziness, intermittent pains, hypersensitivities, and worry. Kali Sulph is called the cell lubricant. It helps restore the smooth functioning of all cells but specifically affects the skin and oil-carrying membranes of the body, and should be considered whenever there are symptoms of dryness or a sticky, yellowish discharge. Kali Sulph provides natural support for acne, dermatitis (eczema, psoriasis, dandruff), yeast infections, and helps maintain healthy hair and nails. Use when suffering from colds and coughs with yellow mucus difficult to expectorate. It also soothes the mucous linings of the stomach and deals with diarrhea. Kali Sulph is ideal in the later stage of inflammation as it induces perspiration to rid the body of toxins and waste and enables healing. Kali Sulphuricum is a key salt in a frequently recommended combination of 4 cell salts treating difficult skin ailments including acne and eczema: Kali Sulph, Calc Sulph (#3), Silica (#12), and Kali Mur (#5). Put 2 to 3 squirts of each salt directly int he mouth or in a small glass of filtered water and swirl. Take 10 minutes before or after eating 3 to 4 times a day. Kali Sulph - together with Ferr Phos (Cell Salt #4) - facilitates the oxygen transfer from the lungs to the blood stream to the cells. While Ferr Phos ensures oxygen is carried by the blood to the cells, Kali Sulph receives that oxygen and regulates the exchange of carbon dioxide between the cells and the blood. As oxygen is vital to the health of every cell in our body, a deficiency of Kali Sulph may cause conditions as varied as prolonged infections, shifting pains, dizziness, fatigue, allergic reactions, worries, and irritability. This is also why symptoms caused by a lack of Kali Sulph improve in fresh oxygen-rich air.
