Freespirit Recreation Kali Rooftop Tent

Kali Rooftop Tent: Hard shell protection. Fold-out footprint. Perfect for: Short bed & below-cab rack setups, Tacomas, mid-size SUVs, 2–3 person trips, rigs where roof space is at a premium & simple setup is a must Foldout rooftop tents earn their fans for one reason: more sleeping space per inch of roof footprint. But the tradeoff is usually the shell. Most foldout competitors protect their designs with fiberglass or fiber-reinforced plastic — materials that flex under road vibration, develop stress cracks at hardware points and corners over time, and require gelcoat maintenance to stay sealed. Aluminum doesn't. The Kali's hard shell won't crack, won't blister, and won't need resurfacing after a few seasons of hard use. It's the more durable shell choice in a category that usually doesn't offer it.
