About Cell Salt Kali Muriaticum & Dr. Schuessler's Biochemic Therapy Kali Muriaticum or Potassium Chloride is Cell Salt #5 in Dr. Schuessler's biochemic therapy, a natural healing system comprised of 12 vital mineral salts. Kali Mur speeds up regular cellular functions which have become sluggish through illness or insufficient nutrition. It can be found in the cells of muscles, blood, nerves, the brain, and the fluid surrounding the cells and is helpful at every stage of an infection.* Use Kali Mur for help with alleviating respiratory infections including colds, coughs, sore throats, sinusitis, bronchitis, ear infections, swimmer's ear, crackling and popping sounds in ear, any condition producing white discharge, digestive issues, nervous exhaustion, skin burns. Targeting the respiratory and lymphatic systems, Kali Mur is most frequently recommended together or in alteration with Ferrum Phosphoricum (Cell Salt #4) for colds, coughs, sore throats, runny nose, sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and ear infections. A noticeable symptom of a Kali Muriaticum deficiency is a white coating on the tongue. Use Kali Mur also for childhood diseases accompanied by a discharge through the skin or swollen glands (measles, chicken pox, and mumps) and for any infection which produces a thick, white discharge. Kali Mur helps cleanse the skin from pimples and eruptions containing a white secretion, alleviate white mouth ulcers, and clear mild cases of vaginal yeast infections and breastfeeding thrush. It assists with the production of saliva and hydrochloric acids, thus playing a role in the digestive process aiding the absorption of fatty, heavy foods and supporting the digestive system as we age. Kali Mur works together with Calcarea Sulphurica (Cell Salt #3) to cleanse the blood, so consider the two when dealing with the later stages of an infection. Kali Muriaticum can be applied externally in first aid situations to relieve minor burns of the skin. Do not apply to wound directly. Spray carefully close to burned skin. On the emotional level, Kali Mur is used for those suffering from prolonged nervous exhaustion, indifference, or anxiety due to overwork or chronic illness. Little History: It was Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler, the father of the 12 cell salts healing system, who introduced Kali Muriaticum to homeopathy and discovered that it combines with fibrin and is present in almost every cell of the body.
