Kala BMB-B Solid Bamboo Baritone Ukulele

Kala BMB-B Solid Bamboo Baritone Ukulele The Kala Solid Bamboo Baritone Ukulele is a stunning instrument that combines natural beauty with sustainable design. Because every part—from the top and sides to the neck and fretboard—is made of solid bamboo, this baritone ukulele offers a bright, balanced tone and impressive durability. In fact, its satin finish enhances the sleek, modern aesthetic while allowing the wood to breathe for superior resonance. Furthermore, the slotted headstock adds a classic touch, and the single black strap button ensures comfort during long playing sessions. Compared to other tonewoods, bamboo provides a warm yet crisp projection that makes this ukulele ideal for players seeking clarity and smooth playability. Premium Components and Comfortable Playability The Kala Solid Bamboo Baritone Ukulele also features a Graphtech TUSQ nut and saddle, which contribute to exceptional tuning stability and sustain. Given that it’s strung with Aquila Super Nylgut strings tuned to D-G-B-E—with a wound low D—it delivers a rich, guitar-like sound that appeals to musicians transitioning from six strings. Similarly, the 16.87" scale length and 1.37" nut width make fretting comfortable, even during complex chords. As a result, every note rings true across all 18 frets. Finally, this instrument’s thoughtful proportions—such as its 28" overall length and 3" body depth—create perfect balance and comfort, making the Kala Solid Bamboo Baritone Ukulele a true standout for serious ukulele enthusiasts.
