Kaffe’ is one of a new 2023 series of tribal masks that are mounted on wood. I started making art soon after seeing authentic African artwork at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. I was in total awe. Kaffe’ is 4.5” x 8 x 1 and weighs 1.13 lbs. He has a contagious smile. Kaffe’s face is honey brown. Over 20 handmade raku fired beads Over 60 feet of 16 and 24 gauge twisted wire for hair! Over two weeks to complete! Aamadu is ready to be mounted inside or outdoors!
