K2 Medium Snowboard | 2027

The Medium by Jake Kuzyk, completely redesigned for modern freestyle snowboarding. K2 Snowboarding Pro Rider Jake Kuzyk is dedicated to the classics...a classic, round, twin, tip and tail, a classic (mostly) camber profile, and a predictable flex pattern. We took all these elements into account when heading into the workshop and designing the K2 Medium for the ‘26/27 season. Working with Jake Kuzyk and Kennedi Deck, we focused on creating a tool with an all-inclusive sizing, flex pattern, and design aesthetic. A deep sidecut between the feet and a smooth blend zone in the tip and tail make the medium feel more stable than in years past (wider waist width, yes!), but still nimble for those low-speed maneuvers in the streets. We worked alongside jake to engineer our new Carbon Backbone™, a pre-cambered carbon stringer that runs form tip to tail, giving Jake all of the snap that he needs without the extra stiffness that he doesn’t. This graphic is something special. Dreamt up and designed by Jake himself, this is a take on the traditional bumper you may see in the parking lot...just a little bit funnier. Features Traditional Twin Shape BAP Core - A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species. Sintered 4000 Base - Our Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability. Triax Fiberglass - A glass laminate with diagonal layers that adds torsional stiffness for increased stability and improved edge hold. The fibers three layers are woven at 45°, 45°, and 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally. Carbon DarkWeb - Carbon stringers extend at 45º angles from the inserts in an “X” pattern, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds. Carbon Backbone - A pre-cambered carbon inlay centered between the inserts specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff. Hybritech Construction - Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech™ is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech™ so revolutionary.  Binding Compatibility - 2x4
