Can be used in the maxillary, sphenoid or frontal sinus. Can prevent lateralization of the turbinate. Placed into the operative area and when in contact with blood or other body fluids, they absorb the fluid and aid in the control of bleeding. String is attached to facilitate retention. Sterile.
