Jumbo Sensory Exploration Wall Panel

The Jumbo Sensory Exploration Wall Panel is a large wall-mounted sensory board that combines more than a dozen distinct tactile and visual elements on a single laminated surface. Children can work across the board simultaneously or focus on individual components. The Wall toy includes convex mirror domes that distort and reflect, a large textured tray, a faux fur panel, and an array of raised and patterned discs in a range of textures, shapes, and colors. The scale of the panel - nearly four feet tall and almost five feet wide - means multiple children can explore at once without crowding each other out. Mounting hardware included.                                                                                                                                                                                 Specifications Size 46"H x 57"W Item Number MB199382 Manufacturer Moje Bambino Construction Durable laminated board Recommended Age 3 and up Loose Parts None Hardware Included Yes, with mounting instructions Cleaning Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. What the Panel Includes The board combines visual and tactile elements across its full surface. Four convex mirror domes in the upper left reflect and distort a child's image, giving them a novel visual experience that changes as they move. A large circular textured tray provides a different tactile surface from the discs around it. The faux fur panel in the lower left offers the softest texture on the board, a deliberate contrast to the harder raised patterns elsewhere. The disc array across the center and right side includes raised geometric patterns, cross and star shapes, a yin-yang form, a grid/waffle surface, a concave dome, and smooth circular forms in multiple colors and sizes. Each disc offers a distinct tactile input, and the variety across the board means children can compare textures by moving from one element to another rather than experiencing each in isolation. Why Scale Matters Most wall-mounted sensory panels are designed for one child at a time. At 57 inches wide, the Jumbo panel accommodates two or three children working simultaneously without interfering with each other, which changes how the panel functions in a group setting. Children can explore independently side by side, compare what they are feeling, point out elements to each other, and move across the board to try what a peer is exploring. That social layer is not available on a compact single-child panel, and it makes this product particularly well suited to classroom and therapy group contexts rather than purely individual use. Sensory Integration Applications The deliberate variety of textures - smooth, raised, geometric, soft, reflective, granular - gives occupational therapists a single surface that addresses multiple tactile discrimination goals. Children with sensory processing differences can approach the board at their own pace, starting with the most tolerated texture and working gradually toward elements that are more challenging for them.  The no-loose-parts, wall-mounted format keeps the board available throughout a session without setup or cleanup, which preserves session time for the therapeutic interaction rather than logistics.   Where These Work Best       Occupational therapy clinics and sensory gyms     The breadth of tactile inputs on a single panel makes this a high-value OT tool for sensory integration work. The range from the soft faux fur to the hard raised geometric discs to the smooth mirror domes covers a wide spectrum of tactile experiences in a single wall installation. For clinics running sensory groups, the panel's size allows two or three children to work on tactile discrimination activities simultaneously under therapist guidance.         Early learning centers and inclusive classrooms     The panel's scale and visual variety make it a natural anchor for a sensory exploration zone in a Pre-K or kindergarten classroom. The multiple simultaneous access points mean it supports small group activity without teacher facilitation, which frees up instructional time during centers or free exploration periods. The laminated construction withstands the kind of daily handling a classroom environment produces.         Children's museums, libraries, and public play spaces     The visual scale of the panel draws children across a room, which makes it an effective focal point in a museum installation or library children's section. The variety of components sustains engagement long enough to hold a child's attention through a typical drop-in visit, and the multi-child access means family groups can explore together rather than taking turns at a single small panel.   Jumbo Sensory Exploration Panel | Item MB199382 | Part of the Moje Bambino collection.
