Two gigantic heads of Elephant Garlic and two gigantic heads of Chesnok Red. ‘CHESNOK RED’ HARDNECK GARLIC Highly productive purple stripe hardneck variety. Delicious when roasted. Medium in stem height, but big underground bulbs. 'ELEPHANT' GARLIC or Allium ampeloprasum is actually related to the leek and not true garlic. It's flavor, however, is like garlic but more light and mild. All garlic sold by Big Elk Garlic Farm is a perishable food item that is naturally dried using only sunlight and air. It needs to be stored properly until use in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. **PLEASE NOTE: All orders placed for our seed garlic (for planting) as well as our culinary garlic (for cooking and processing) will begin shipping the first week of September.** USPS economy shipping rate for seed packs is $15 each. Orders over $200.00 ship for free.
