Juiced® Orange Jessamine

Juiced® Orange Jessamine (Cestrum corymbosum 'WNCESCORYEL') brings the irresistible charm of a creamsicle right into your garden with tubular flowers that glow in shades of light orange. Each bloom is conveniently bundled into rounded clusters that look like cheerful little pom-poms hovering above glossy green foliage. Hummingbirds zero in on these tubular treasures from late spring through late summer, often returning multiple times a day once they discover this reliable nectar source. Year-Round Appeal in Warmer Zones In zones 7-10 where it's hardy, this evergreen shrub maintains its lush green foliage throughout the year, providing structure and texture even when not in bloom. The naturally mounded habit reaches 4 to 5 feet tall with a 3 to 4 foot spread, making it substantial enough to anchor a planting but not so large it overwhelms smaller gardens. The foliage emerges a fresh light green and maintains that brightness, creating a lovely backdrop for the warm-toned flowers. Perfect for Pollinator Gardens Beyond hummingbirds, Juiced® Orange Jessamine invites butterflies and native bees to visit throughout its extended bloom period. The fragrant flowers add another dimension to the sensory experience, releasing a sweet perfume that's noticeable but not overwhelming. Deer tend to pass this plant by, making it a smart choice for gardens where browsing is an issue. Easy-Care Beauty Once established, this Proven Winners® selection lives up to its easy-care reputation. It handles heat and drought with minimal fuss, though consistent moisture encourages the heaviest flowering. The evergreen nature means you're never left with bare stems waiting for spring, and the long bloom season means you get months of color and pollinator activity rather than a brief two-week show. Landscape Uses Use Juiced® Orange Jessamine as a foundation plant near patios or walkways where you can enjoy the fragrance and watch hummingbirds feed. It works beautifully in mixed borders paired with purple salvias or blue plumbago for a vibrant hot-and-cool color scheme. In containers, it serves as a thriller with its upright habit and long-lasting blooms. Mass plantings create a stunning hedge of color and fragrance that provides privacy while supporting pollinators. This jessamine proves that easy care doesn't mean boring. It delivers consistent color, fragrance, wildlife value, and evergreen structure with minimal intervention required from you.
