Jugaad It!

In India, Jugaad (joo-gahd) is the mindset that we get it done with what we've got! The art of making something work beautifully with exactly what you have. Meherwan grew up with it. It's the through-line behind Chai Pani, Botiwalla, and Spicewalla. And now it's in a tin! In Meherwan's words, "Duct tape, chicken wire, and bubble gum can fix anything. Our Jugaad It blend is the MacGyver of your pantry! The Swiss Army Knife of your kitchen. The thing you reach for when you need to fix flavour fast, with whatever you've got. Three simple, powerful ingredients: salt, sugar, and MSG." Salt opens up the flavour. Sugar rounds out the sharp edges. MSG delivers umami, that deep, savory, mouthwatering quality that makes food taste more like itself and keeps you reaching for another bite. Together, they form the foundation of flavour. The fix. You'll see MSG on the label, and it's there because we adore it! It's naturally present in parmesan, tomatoes, mushrooms, and soy sauce, and the FDA classifies it in the same safe food category as salt and sugar. We believe every ingredient deserves to be understood and used with intention - scroll down to read more about MSG and the jugaad philosophy behind this blend.
