A very popular furniture making saw, our Kataba has 20 teeth per inch dispersed over nine inches. Overall length is 21.5". Because this is not a back saw, blade thickness is 0.40mm or sixteen thousandths (0.016") of an inch. The Kataba saw is the tool of choice when you need cuts deeper than possible with a Dozuki. Perfect for tenons and larger dovetails as well as flush cutting and general-purpose sawing needs NOTE: The handle of the Japanese Saw is wrapped in Rattan which is a natural material and therefore may have slight marring or imperfections.
