World Spice Jorhat Assam

World Spice Jorhat Assam World Spice Jorhat Assam is a robust Assam black tea designed for drinkers who want a sturdy, high-energy brew. Sourced from the Jorhat growing region of Northeast India, this crop delivers a brisk character grounded by classic malt and tangy undertones, finished with a deep body and a subtle dried fruit aroma. Brewing Instructions Measure 1–2 teaspoons loose leaf per cup Pour water heated to 205°F–212°F directly over the leaves Steep for 3–5 minutes, then strain How to Serve The dense leaf structure carries heavy flavors without turning thin, making this a reliable base for traditional preparation with milk and sweetener. If you want to introduce more heat to your cup, steep the leaves alongside your preferred Chai Masala for a layered, aromatic drink that retains the Assam foundation. Why You Might Choose This Tea Strong malt and brisk finish cuts through milk and sugar cleanly Consistent brewing window makes it forgiving for daily preparation Pure black tea leaves hold up well to extended steeping compared to delicate green varieties Frequently Asked Questions Can I add chai masala to this tea? Yes. The leaves pair naturally with warming spices, and you can steep them directly with any Chai Masala blend for a spicier, more complex cup. What is the optimal brewing temperature and time? Use water at 205°F–212°F and steep for 3–5 minutes. Staying within this range maximizes the malt and dried fruit notes while keeping bitterness in check. Will this tea turn astringent if I brew it for longer than 5 minutes? Like most Assam black teas, extended steeping increases tannin extraction. Keeping to the 3–5 minute window preserves the intended brisk, full-bodied profile.
