JOOLA Scorpeus Pro V Pickleball Paddle 16mm

JOOLA SCORPEUS PRO V 16MM   A defensive player’s dream paddle, the Scorpeus Pro V is made for those in search of control and stability. It's our widest and most forgiving paddle shape, designed for consistency even when timing or contact isn’t perfect. And as the shortest shape in the Pro V lineup, it provides unmatched stability during high-velocity kitchen battles. Great for doubles due to its wider profile, the Scorpeus Pro V expands the sweet spot, delivering added forgiveness on blocks, resets, and counters; key shots when less court needs to be covered, and more points are won at the net.  Built into the paddle’s throat, the patent-pending KineticFrame flexes to absorb and redirect energy, benefiting softer hands in the transition zone and precise ball placement under pressure. That's why it's the signature paddle of Anna Bright and Collin Johns. Go with Anna's 16mm paddle for a bit more weight (8.2oz) and a slimmer grip (4.125in) or choose Anna's 14mm paddle for a bit less weight (8.0oz) with the same slimmer grip (4.125in). Have larger hands? Collin's 16mm paddle features the same weight as Anna's (8.2oz) but a wider grip (4.250in).   PRODUCT SPECIFICATION Surface: Textured Carbon Fiber Core: 16mm/14mm UPA-A certified: Yes USAP certified: Yes Warranty: 12mo (reg. required) Class: Standard Paddle Length: 16in Paddle Width: 8in Grip Type: Feel-Tec Grip Length: 5.25in Grip Circumference*: 4.250in/4.125in   PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY KineticFrame Inspired by kick-point engineering in hockey sticks and golf clubs, the KineticFrame is built to flex and recover during impact. Propulsion Core Patented propulsion core adds controlled flex to the paddle’s interior, creating a responsive, spring-like effect. The result is easier access to power on drives, counters, and quick speed-ups, so you can hit harder without having to swing harder. Hyperfoam Edge Wall A foam injection that adds stability around the edges of the paddle, giving you a larger sweet spot and more forgiveness on off-center hits. The result is steadier shots and more consistent performance across the entire face. Shape Class: Standard A traditional wide-body paddle shape (typically 16" long x 8" wide) prioritizes a larger sweet spot, forgiveness, and fast hand speed. Players benefit from easier control, consistency, and maneuverability during quick net exchanges, making it ideal for balanced or control-focused play. Shape: Scorpeus This standard paddle shape is JOOLA’s fastest and most forgiving. Great for doubles, the wider profile of the Scorpeus expands the sweet spot, delivering added stability on blocks, resets, and counters; key shots when less court needs to be covered, and more points are won at the net. "The forgiveness is insane; it’s really going to help your defense and help you get to the kitchen line. The sweet spot is very large; so if you hit it a little off center, it’s going to help you out."
