JOOLA Kosmos Pro V Pickleball Paddle 16mm

JOOLA KOSMOS PRO V 16MM   The Kosmos Pro V introduces a new hybrid shape that blends the reach of the Perseus with the expanded sweet spot of the Scorpeus, creating a balanced option for players who want to drive from the baseline, counter at the kitchen, and smoothly transition into controlled net play. Designed with patent-pending KineticFrame technology, the Kosmos Pro V flexes to store swing momentum and releases it on impact. It also absorbs energy from incoming balls to help you dictate the pace of the game, responding quickly without punishing imperfect contact and facilitating confident shot placement in fast exchanges. The Kosmos Pro V 16mm marks Federico Staksrud’s first signature paddle in the JOOLA lineup. Its 16mm-thick core gives Fed the added dwell time he needs to slow the game down, control the ball through transitions, and execute his strategic approach. The Kosmos Pro V 14mm is Tyson McGuffin's newest signature paddle, delivering the added pop and quick response he relies on for his aggressive, fast-paced style of play. Go with Fed's 16mm paddle for a bit more weight (8.1oz) and a wider grip (4.250in) or choose Tyson's 14mm paddle for a bit less weight (7.9oz) and a slimmer grip (4.125in).   PRODUCT SPECIFICATION Surface: Textured Carbon Fiber Core: 16mm/14mm UPA-A certified: Yes USAP certified: Yes Warranty: 12mo (registration required) Class: Hybrid Paddle Length: 16.3in Paddle Width: 7.7in Grip Type: Feel-Tec Grip Length: 5.25in Grip Circumference*: 4.250in/4.125in   PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY KineticFrame Inspired by kick-point engineering in hockey sticks and golf clubs, the KineticFrame is built to flex and recover during impact. Propulsion Core Patented propulsion core adds controlled flex to the paddle’s interior, creating a responsive, spring-like effect. The result is easier access to power on drives, counters, and quick speed-ups, so you can hit harder without having to swing harder. Hyperfoam Edge Wall A foam injection that adds stability around the edges of the paddle, giving you a larger sweet spot and more forgiveness on off-center hits. The result is steadier shots and more consistent performance across the entire face. Shape Class: Hybrid A middle-ground shape between standard and elongated (around 16.3” long x 7.7” wide), blending reach with a medium-sized sweet spot. Players gain all-around performance that prioritizes versatility and smooth transitions, making it an “all-court” option. Shape: Kosmos JOOLA's first hybrid shape blends the reach of the elongated Perseus with the maneuverability of the standard Scorpeus, creating a versatile option for players who want to drive from the baseline, counter at the kitchen, and transition smoothly into controlled net play. "I think the Kosmos shape basically sums up everything I need when it comes to the power for the drives, but also the versatility and hand-speed for doubles." Federico Staksrud Signature Pro (16mm) "You’re going to feel like the Kosmos is much quicker, because the overall surface face is wider, and with there being less paddle to work with, you’ll find the transition from backhand to forehand is just much quicker."
