Daylen Cap Toe Boot

Dress-Shoe Style, All-Day Comfort — The XC Flex® Daylen Cap Toe Boot The Johnston & Murphy XC Flex® Daylen Cap Toe Boot is a men's hand-finished full-grain leather boot that brings honest dress-shoe styling to a boot format — smart and sophisticated enough for the office, versatile enough for the weekend, and comfortable enough for date night. Built on J&M's XC Flex® construction platform for maximum cushioning and flexibility, crafted from gorgeous hand-finished full-grain leather that develops character and great-looking comfort over years of wear, and finished with a removable contoured polyurethane footbed enhanced with an extra EVA cushioning layer and a flexible rubber sole — the Daylen Cap Toe Boot is the boot that works in any season and earns its place in the rotation from Monday morning to Saturday night. Available in Tan and Black Hand-Finished Full-Grain Leather, in Medium and Wide widths. Hand-Finished Full-Grain Leather Upper — Polished Sophistication That Gets Better With Time The Daylen is crafted from hand-finished full-grain leather — the highest quality cut of leather available, retaining its natural grain for superior durability and breathability, and individually hand-finished for a rich, nuanced surface character that no machine-produced finish can replicate. The hand-finishing process gives each pair a subtly distinctive, refined character that deepens and improves with extended wear, developing into a boot with genuine personal history and presence. The leather and textile lining provides a comfortable, breathable interior feel throughout extended daily wear. The clean cap toe silhouette is the Daylen's other defining style element — a timeless dress-boot detail that adds tailored sophistication to an otherwise simple silhouette and makes the boot equally at home in the boardroom and at the bar. XC Flex® Construction, Contoured PU + EVA Footbed, Flexible Rubber Sole — Built to Move With You The Daylen's exceptional all-day comfort begins with Johnston & Murphy's XC Flex® construction — a proprietary system engineered for maximum cushioning and natural flexibility that allows the boot to bend and flex with the foot's natural movement rather than working against it. The removable contoured polyurethane footbed is the system's comfort centerpiece, providing a cushioned, anatomically shaped base that supports the foot's natural contours throughout extended daily wear — and a bonus EVA layer adds an extra level of plush cushioning on top, making the Daylen noticeably more comfortable than a standard dress boot footbed. The flexible rubber sole provides reliable traction on a variety of surfaces while bending and responding naturally with every step, reinforcing the XC Flex® construction's flexible, freedom-of-movement character. The footbed is fully removable for those who prefer custom orthotics.
