Johnny Dynamite - S/T CD

Johnny Dynamite’s self-titled LP arrives as a sharp, late-night collision of post-punk tension, glam swagger, synth-soaked new wave, and power-pop hooks. Co-produced and mixed by Korine’s Trey Frey, the record pushes Johnny Dynamite’s sound into its most immediate and confident form yet — balancing icy drum machines and chorus-drenched guitars with melancholic melodies that feel equally indebted to CBGB-era punk, 80s college radio, and modern darkwave. Across eight tightly wound tracks, the album captures romance, paranoia, excess, and isolation with a cinematic sense of style, turning heartbreak and nightlife into something both dangerous and undeniably catchy. 1.
