Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich Blended Scotch Whisky 750ml

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich is built around one of Scotland's most elusive ghost distilleries: Pittyvaich, a Speyside single malt distillery that operated from 1975 to 1993 and was demolished in 2002. Its remaining casks are extraordinarily scarce, and this expression showcases them at the heart of a blend assembled from eight rare and ghost whiskies. Alongside Pittyvaich, Master Blender Jim Beveridge OBE selected stocks from Auchroisk, Craigellachie, Mannochmore, Royal Lochnagar, Strathmill, Port Dundas, and Carsebridge to create a Speyside-led blend of remarkable richness and complexity. Presented in a dramatic blue and amber bottle with an ethereal ghost-themed gift box, this is a limited release that speaks directly to serious whisky collectors. Once this edition sells through, it will not return. FAQ What is Pittyvaich and why is it significant? Pittyvaich was a Speyside distillery that operated from 1975 to 1993 before being permanently closed and later demolished in 2002. Its remaining casks are finite and irreplaceable, making any expression featuring Pittyvaich stock a genuine collector opportunity that grows rarer every year. How does Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich differ from standard Blue Label? Standard Blue Label draws from Diageo's broad cask reserves. Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich is built from a strictly finite pool of ghost distillery stocks. It sits above standard Blue Label in rarity and complexity, and because the source distillery no longer exists, this blend can never be reproduced once the casks are exhausted. How does this compare to other Ghost and Rare editions? Each Ghost and Rare edition has a distinct character tied to its featured ghost distillery. The Pittyvaich edition is Speyside-forward, fruitier, and more floral than the smokier Port Ellen edition or the richer Brora edition. All three are serious collector releases. We also carry the Ghost and Rare Port Ellen Second Edition in store. Is this a limited edition? Yes. This is a finite release with no replenishment. Once it sells through, it is gone for good. If you are considering this bottle we strongly recommend securing it now. Where can I buy Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich online?
