John Davis CD

The guiding voice of mainstream power pop band Superdrag, John Davis has spent the past ten years taking his trailblazing music on the road.  Touring with the likes of Green Day and Guided By Voices, Superdrag established themselves as one of the last decades most intriguing and consistent musical pleasures.  In 2002, after what John calls his 'road to Damascus' experience, he began shifting the lyrical focus of his music to reflect his new found Christian faith.  Lauded by critics and fans alike, the songs on John Davis' solo debut brim with musical innovation and a fresh lyrical bent that is honest, earnest and untainted by the conventions of typical CCM.  Songs such as 'Nothing Gets Me Down', 'Me & My Girl' and 'Jesus Gonna Build Me A Home' have roots in the greatest of songwriters of the rock era, while pushing them on to a new interpretation for the 21st century. - WORD CD Details Release Date: March 08, 2005 Record Label: Rambler Records UPC: 881534300121 Number of Discs: 1 Listen Before You Buy
